Some BMO members perform on an extracurricular basis as part of an ensemble or as soloists and are available to perform at your function.

The Nonesuch Trio
BMO mandolinists Laura Norris and Jim Blanchard and former BMO guitarist Jeff Doll make up the Nonesuch Trio. They play a combination of classical music and other genres such as ragtime, concert dances, traditional Italian compositions for mandolin, some pop tunes and other traditional and popular works arranged for the trio's configuration of two mandolins and a classical guitar. Formed in 2004, the duo is exposing audiences to the rich history and tradition of mandolin and guitar duets from the golden age of classical mandolin and music composed for mandolin and guitar. J. Patrick's All Stars
Are you looking to play, dance to, or just listen to the traditional music of Ireland? BMO member Peter FitzGerald, pictured at right, is the founder of J. Patrick's All Stars, whose musical home in Baltimore is J. Patrick's Irish Pub in historic Locust Point. Peter teaches and performs on mandolin and tenor banjo. Beatrice Gilbert, lyric soprano
 Beatrice Gilbert has been the featured vocal soloist with the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra since 1994. She can be heard on the BMO's CD "City by the Sea." She is a popular guest soloist at local churches and has performed professionally with many organizations and in many venues, including traditional Italian-American festivals in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Beatrice was born in Naples, Italy, moved to the U.S. as a child, and grew up in the Annapolis area. She began her formal voice training at the Peabody Conservatory of Music and has studied with baritone Daniel Comegys and soprano Linda Anderson-Baer. She is currently studying with Mary Ruzicka. Beatrice has performed with the Capitol Opera Company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and in operas at York College of Pennsylvania.
