The Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra, under the direction of Kristin Turner, is a Baltimore, Maryland-based ensemble of mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos, mandobasses, and classical guitars. We play an eclectic mix of classical music, marches, rags, show tunes,and a variety of other traditional compositions for mandolin orchestra.  Please explore our site and find out more about us!

Next public concert:
     Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 2533 Mt. Carmel Road in Parkton, MD.  After the concert, which will start at 4:00 p.m., please stick around for a spaghetti dinner put on by the church.  That will run from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  Tickets for the concert are $10 and tickets for the spaghetti dinner are $10.  You can enjoy both for $18.  What a wonderful way to spend an evening!  We'll surely play some Italian music to put you in the spaghetti mood.  For ticket information, please call 410-343-1275 or email
     The BMO will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of its founding in 1924 this season.  We will be featuring pieces composed by the orchestra's founder, Conrad Gebelein, throughout the year.
